In Edmond, developer Brandon Lodge has negotiated a ground lease from the City of Edmond to redevelop what is now a maintenance building next to the farmer's market and just south of the Railyard project.
The project would repurpose the building and enclose the south half of the plaza and create a large beer hall.
Prairie will join Frenzy Brewing, The Patriarch, and American Solera to form an emerging 'ale trail' in the area, which is booming. The Silos, a large apartment complex, is well under construction nearby and the tiny home development The Lark has seen strong sales.
All this is in addition to the Railyard, The Icehouse Project, and countless other new businesses and projects in downtown Edmond.
Lodge is also the developer and owner of the 8th Street Market near downtown OKC where Prairie is the anchor. The plan is to add an indoor pickleball court just to the south of the taproom in a large open area that will also be surrounded by micro-businesses such as retail and food service.
