The Oklahoma City Airport Trust is set to consider a new name for the Will Rogers World Airport.
In the trust's June Meeting, Jeff Mulder, Director of the OKC Department of Airports, presented the slides shown below, the result of hiring an outside consulting firm, reviewing peer airports, and a citizen survey.
The airport is in the process of designing a new website which prompted the review.
The trust will likely formally vote on the name and branding at its August meeting, followed by City Council approval.
If all goes to plan, the new name and logo will start to appear this fall and take many months to fully replace imagery at the airport itself as well as shuttle busses and numerous other uses.
