Mayor’s Development Roundtable set for Monday, May 14
Mayor Mick Cornett will host The Mayor's Development Roundtable 6 on Monday, May 14 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cox Business Services Convention Center.
Every May, the Mayor holds this event to bring together public and private sector individuals with a commitment to developing a great community.
This year’s kick-off keynote speaker is William H. Hudnut, III (http://www.okc.gov/planning/roundtable/#Hudnut) of the Urban Land Institute in Washington, DC. In addition to previous careers as a clergyman, TV commentator and congressman, Hudnut was mayor of Indianapolis, IN during its growth boom in the 1980s.
Mayor Mick Cornett will speak at noon. His topic is “LEEDing with Green,” exploring ways developers can profitably build environmentally friendly projects.
