Intrepid 04-19-2007, 09:46 PM I heard about this from a friend today. I'm hoping to be able to go. okclee 04-19-2007, 10:41 PM I wonder if his buddy Kramer will be there, that could get interesting. Pete 04-20-2007, 12:05 AM I saw him the very first time he came to OKC, back in the old Jokers comedy club that was in the Lakeshore Mall at 63rd and NW Expressway. I had seen a little bit of his on Showtime and thought he was fantastic. He struggled for at least another decade before his show skyrocketed. Came back to OKC several times during the lean years and saw him every time. BailJumper 04-20-2007, 08:43 AM I have someone in line at this very moment in front of the Civic Center. They are limiting box office ticket sales to 8. Online tickets go on sale at 10am. It is an excellent show! Intrepid 04-20-2007, 09:10 AM How are tickets going for? BailJumper 04-20-2007, 09:44 AM I'm front and center for I think $78 each. Cheaper than Cirque Du Soleil (sp) and it's gotta be better. BailJumper 06-03-2007, 08:58 AM Well, went to the concert last night with a large group. Must say, it was EXCELLENT! Anyone else take it in? MadMonk 06-03-2007, 07:28 PM The wife and I were there and we thought it was great. A little short though. I thought he would've had more than one warmup guy. metro 06-03-2007, 08:51 PM Jerry Seinfeld concert? Is he singing now? Midtowner 06-03-2007, 08:59 PM I'm front and center for I think $78 each. Cheaper than Cirque Du Soleil (sp) and it's gotta be better. I've been to several Cirque things. It ain't hard to beat Cirque. Easy180 06-03-2007, 10:05 PM I've been to several Cirque things. It ain't hard to beat Cirque. I sense bandnerd had something to do with you going to several Cirques Mid Probably similar to my great time at the freakin Gwen Stefani concert Women :dontgetit Midtowner 06-03-2007, 10:09 PM Actually, it was more my parents. They have 4 season tickets to the musical things they do down at the Civic Center. Occasionally, we'll have a couple of tickets thrown our way. I enjoy some musicals... cirque though? It's just a bunch of weirdness which I guess is supposed to be "art." hipsterdoofus 06-04-2007, 10:36 AM I saw Seinfeld last time he was here in the Civic Center - because i'm a big fan of the show. I thought that the show was MUCH too short for the $$$...Since then I've seen Bill Cosby twice and would take his shows any day over seinfeld's... Cosby's show a couple months back was excellent. I think he would have kept going if he didn't have another show to do ... HOT ROD 06-04-2007, 06:27 PM Jerry and Cosby sure are making lots of visits to the city. This is good news!!! |
