View Full Version : Latest look at the Centennial
ourulz2000 04-03-2007, 03:30 PM The Centennial has a website with a live camera showing the construction. Does the new Bricktown Hampton Inn have any sort of site or way we can see the construction going on?

metro 04-03-2007, 04:58 PM Not that I'm aware of, thanks for posting this, I've been meaning to for some time and keep forgetting, I think it's off Timberlake's website for this one. Perhaps once foundation/framework starts for the HI, maybe that construction company will post one.
Spartan 04-03-2007, 08:01 PM Hi?

jbrown84 04-11-2007, 11:24 AM Is that as deep as it's going to be? It looks like the foundation extends further west.

I think that is it, you know how Hogan loves to build parking lots.
Hogan Development = Parking Lot King.......got to love it, Bricktown.

BG918 04-30-2007, 11:31 AM Is this still going to have that tan EFIS exterior on the upper floors? If so I will be disappointed in Hogan for ruining yet another project. If the whole building is brick, as it should be, I will be somewhat happy but that parking lot behind still irks me.
metro 04-30-2007, 09:27 PM BG, most of the parking will be underground. I'm sure that part in the back will be a small lot for deliveries, unloading, etc.
jbrown84 04-30-2007, 09:52 PM The lot in the back is as big or bigger than the building.
metro 11-13-2007, 10:56 AM I heard a pretty solid lead that the Lit Clothing in Deep Deuce will be moving into the Centennial shortly. I hate to see them vacate Deep Deuce, but it's probably a better financial move since they'll see a much higher foot traffic count and hopefully establish a little more retail with Firefly clothing being across the canal. I also heard of a few more downtown moves, but I can't disclose them yet.
jbrown84 11-13-2007, 03:56 PM Good or bad on those secret ones, metro?
metro 11-14-2007, 08:58 AM Good overall and definitely for the long run downtown.
BG918 02-11-2008, 12:16 AM I still don't like this building. It just seems like the design could be better, especially along the canal. I hope this is the last of this type of design we see in Bricktown. I have high hopes for the Cotton project.
