I think KoKo is going to be a big success. Nice utilization of a gym. Just get all-in-one machines as opposed to having tons of different equipment scattered over a massive area. Perfect fit for an urban neighborhood.

I hope the interior design place isn't overly expensive. Although I won't hold my breath as many of the people living in DD can shell out some dough, which is why I think they chose this location.

I'm actually really interested in Koko. When do they hope to be open?

Paige the owner at Bella Vici is extremely talented when it comes to unique modern design. Here and her husband also own flat tide surf , which is a paddle board rental company. They should right in downtown.

We are looking to buy at the Lofts and I was wondering about parking, We have 2 cars but I am thinking about getting a motorcycle as well. Would there be parking available for it? can I share a space with my jeep?

2 bedroom spaces come with 2 spots. While I don't think there is specifically parking for your moto available, let's just say I've seen a few residents get creative (successfully might I add)

Are the parking spaces assigned?

Are the parking spaces assigned?

Yes. I think it is one space per full bedroom in your unit.

Thats good to hear. I just didn't want it to be like a reserved area. I can park a motorcycle and my jeep in the same spot. Its a short vehicle :)

I just walk by here and it looks like there is a coming soon sign for a mens clothing store to the east of the hair salon.

Yes, there is a men's clothing store owned by Bono Stewart called Slim going in.

Also, Flux is expanding.

KoKo finally got a big neon sign up. This should help business as before you could not even tell there was a fitness center down there unless it was dark.

It only took 3...4 years?

Wow!

So, I wonder what the exact plan is here?

I know there was a ridiculous fence surrounding this raised structure right in the middle of the sidewalk...

Are they somehow going to make that area flush/flat?

It is already leveled with the existing sidewalk plane. Those pieces down in the hole are what they shaved off. It took just a day of digging, and a day of cutting. Looks like they are pouring around it tomorrow and it will be finished.

I will get some more photos of the result.

Thanks.

It's a bit troubling the fencing is still sitting there, like they are going to reinstall it.

Horrors, another OKC historical landmark is gone. :(

The fencing will not be installed but rumor has it the City won't allow the concrete to be poured for some reason. Ridiculous. Hopefully soon though. It's been a long journey for the Maywood Park Home Owners Association and we are ready to have it ended.

It'll look even better when they get the railing/fence re-installed around it again.

Purchase a POS car with cash and roll it through the new rails if they refence it.

Is Aloft taking this space permanently? This is the one retail space that could add some real vitality to the street.

Slim's space is super sharp.

They also rent it out for events:

I hate the fact that these businesses aren't street level because I always forget they are there.

A glass railing as opposed to the current jail-themed one would help immensely, but you know...money.

Also maybe some lighted signage on the otherwise blank concrete wall -- at street level -- might help...
