Sorry for what may be a dumb question, but here goes...

I've noticed in the upper right-hand corner of all posts now appears a little blurb about "total points" and "points in the bank," and I have not one clue what it means. If someone has posted an explanation and I just missed it, my apologies in advance.

Help?

The points system is an old relic OKCTalk used back in 2005. I'm reviving the system and creating a hybrid system that is more intuitive and hopefully useful. Once completed you can use your points to purchase enhancements to your user account, trade them in on OKCTalk gear or use them in the new OKCTalk Exchange that is coming very soon.
