Me and the family just moved to Edmond last year after a lifetime on the SouthSide.

Every now and again, I get the biggst jones for some good fried catfish. I don't even know where to start looking up here. Any suggestions?

I'm not the expert on this but I love the catfish at Bricktown Brewery.. it is so tasty!

Closer to home, have you tried the Texas Roadhouse on Memorial and Penn? It actually has a very good catfish dinner and you get to throw peanuts on the floor, lol.. There is the Baker St Pub on Memorial near Quail Springs.. not sure about the catfish but they have fish and chips, calamari appetizers to die for and an awesome fish taco plate .. so good!

If your not into the chain restaurants mentioned above, you might check out the local Catfish Cabin on NW 50th and Meridian.

Is Bricktown Brewery a chain restaurant? No. It's 100% local!

I've recently tried Boomerang Grill's fried catfish (May & Britton) and it was pretty good. Not sure if they have one of those in Edmond though.

Texas Roadhouse has a very good catfish dinner, chain-restaurant-status notwithstanding.

No, the Brewery is not chain, just Texas Roadhouse and Baker Street.

Santa Fe Cattle Co. has good catfish (but that was several years ago).

However, the portion was pretty meager!! It seemed like I only got one or two good-sized fillets!?!

Went out to the Catfish Cabin out on I-35 & Waterloo Saturday night with our Deer Creek friends

Place ain't much to look at (Understatement), but the fried catfish was excellent

Worth checking out especially for you Guthrie and N Edmond folks

We use to love Catfish Cabin...but it has been years...My husband is very picky about his catfish...So you know it had to be good if he gave it a thumbs up..
For me...I always loved the fried shrimp and crab legs...

But my Dad was the best Catfish cooker and he taught me...I don't think I cook mine as good, but I do get good reviews..LOL..no one has ever thrown it at me...
However...heck I don't even want to remember how to cook..but my family keeps showing up over here...
