I am pretty sure they do sell lotto tickets. 7-11 is the only store convenience store that does not sell them. They did not like the idea of having to keep enough money available to cash in the larger lotto tickets.

That is what 7-11 said to the media, but I know one of the store managers and he had a different story. He said that 7-11 doesn't like the clientle that comes with the lotto tickets.

Yeah because I've noticed such a high class customer base at most 7-11's....Puhhlleaze

^^ I don't agree with what he said, I just think that 7-11 is taking the moral high-road on the lotto and gambling. The Okc 7-11 chain is locaally owned and it is possible that the owners were not for gambling or lotto.

Sorry should have mentioned I didn't agree with the mgr....Think you are right with this explanation...Either that or they already feel they have enough foot traffic w/o the additional hassle

I went by SW.59th & Western today, and it's amazing how much Midwest Wrecking has accomplished in the last couple of days. The church is completely torn down and they are in process of hauling the debris away.

Here are a few of the pics I took.

The above pic was taken from the south side of SW.59, west of Western

One last thing....I also noticed that the new On Cue sign had been installed, and they were putting the final touches on it.

I could be wrong but... my money is on CVS. They are about to have two on SW 89th unless they are going to close the store on 89th & Western.

I drove by the new store on 89th & May a few days ago and the shell of the store is complete inside and out. The only thing that is missing is the fixtures and shelves.

My daughter is a Shift Manager at the store on SW 89th and Western....
As far as I know, there are no plans to close her store.
I know the store manager that is at that store will move to the store at May...
Hmmmm...how many times can you use the word "store" in a single sentence...LOL

My wife is a pharmacy technician at the store in Moore, and she hasn't heard anything either.

BTW, went back by SW.59 & Western and took some more pics.....these are the last pics I'll probably take.

On or about April 7, 2007, I said the new On Cue would open in ten days. It opened April 19. Missed it by two days. Not bad for the regional manager telling me when it would happen.

It's a sad world we live in to think that a manager, not a store manager, not a local manager, but a regional manager, when providing you, you of all people, with such valuable inside information cant or doesn't get it right. No way I can blame you for this guys actions. Personaly I think you were fed bad information intentionally, just to make you look bad.

Drove by OnCue and it's now open. The gas is only $2.54 there right now as well. Introductory cheap prices I suppose. There fancy signs won't trick me, I know it will suck getting out of there at that intersection. I hope they don't put in a cvs, I hate those stores and I dont want a damned CVS card. Why not a restaurant or something. I know........ Chick-fil-a.

Uh, yeah, things can get pretty uninteresting after reading through about the first 2 pages of a thread. And I HAD actually read that is was supposed to open April 19th, but just because a place plans to open on a certain date, doesn't mean it always happens.......!
