It just so happened before I left for Homecoming yesterday I thought I would bring my camera with me. Well it was a cold game indeed. I would personally prefer the chilly weather, but I only brought a red fleece pullover with me so I was probably not prepared for how windy it was. I believe when I was driving home my dashboard said the wind chill outside was in the lower thirties...

Now I won't whine about any bad calls, I will instead accept it as my Sooner-born and Sooner-bred fate and hope that some day the officiating aspect of the game can be resolved for the good of the game.

I can say it was very cold. Numb hands were of no use in Sooner spectating tonight, so fans mostly had to use their voice...I think the cold made the atmosphere more interesting. Only great football fans show up for really cold games. Would the weather had been better, the typical...highly drunk OU fans would have shown up as usual. Seems we're renowned for being drunk fans.

What section were you in? My season tickets are in Section 7.

We were in 34 on the E side 10 yd line 27th row off ebay...Had season tix for several years, but gave them up with the higher mortgage :mad:

Wouldn't have been so bad w/o that nasty wind..Oh well...Been in much worse there for sure!

I was there (Section 4) and it was extremely cold! Luckily I wore a heavy coat and stayed the whole game, but I don't blame the people that left early who only had long sleeve shirts on. Nice pics of the OU campus, it's a beautiful place for sure.

Everything was warm except my face and my rear (those aluminum bleachers really suck the heat right out of you). I was in the upper area of the south end-zone. In fact, you took my picture. After half time we moved over to where some friends were sitting in the NW corner area. It was much better not having the wind constantly blowing into your face. What I couldn't understand is why those fools were still sitting way up in the hyper-nosebleed section on the east side when there were so many better (less windy) places available after halftime.

I was in shorts and a hooded sweatshirt, with a t-shirt underneath. We only left at halftime cuz my mom didn't dress warm enough and she was wearing more than me. I was fine. :)

Nope...I can never get mad about things like that, for two reasons:

First, I knew I was going to be able to see it on TV.

Second (and most importantly), the tickets are hers, and I don't have to pay for them. So if she says she wants to go, we go. We've left several times in the past because I wanted to, so it's a fair trade.
