View Full Version : Vegetarian Restaurants? Mandy 10-22-2006, 06:01 PM Just wondering if anyone knows of any good vegetarian restaurants in OKC. Thanks! :) bandnerd 10-22-2006, 06:29 PM The Red Cup Cafe and I believe the Grateful Bean cafe both have vegetarian options as far as I know. If you're into ethnic cuisine, Pho Hoa on 23rd is a Vietnemese noodle soup place and I'm sure they have some vegetarian options with tofu. Just how vegetarian are we talking? Do you eat fish, eggs, or dairy? Midtowner 10-22-2006, 07:03 PM The Grateful Bean at 10th & Walker. metro 10-23-2006, 04:06 PM Yeah, the Grateful Bean is definitely a must at least once. Mandy 10-23-2006, 04:25 PM Thanks, all. :) redcup 10-24-2006, 05:15 PM The Red Cup is at NW 31st and Classen (on 31st). They are open for breakfast and Lunch and dinner on Thurs, Fri. and Sat. They have a vegetarian (not vegan) special everyday and the evenings that they are open. redcup 10-24-2006, 05:18 PM The Red Cup is on NW 31st just East of Classen. They are open for Breakfast and Lunch everyday and have dinner on Thursday, Fri. and Sat. Their vegetarian special (not vegan) is available everyday (except Sun.) Midtowner 10-24-2006, 05:31 PM The vegetarian frito chili pie is terrific at the Red Cup. If the special seems strange (and they usually do!) it's a great fallback. If you're courageous though, the specials have never disappointed. I hear they have coffee also :) Mandy 10-31-2006, 12:24 PM Thanks, redcup :) redcup 10-31-2006, 03:50 PM you are very welcome. :tiphat: They just started new hours and are open til 10 pm on Wed. as well and open til 7pm on Sundays. More time to eat veggie!! OUman 11-01-2006, 08:43 PM If you're ever down in Norman and looking for some good vegetarian food, Abner's at 12th Avenue and Alameda has some pretty good options. Vegetarian pasta dishes, sandwiches with eggplant and other good stuff and garlic fries. Also all ingredients are organic. Btw, just a quick question while we're on the topic, does the Queen Ann Cafeteria have vegetarian dishes? |
