Just got back from seeing Carlos Mencia of Comedy Central at Rose State...The show was hilarious and he took on many taboo topics such as New Orleans, race and even Steve Irwin's death
Many of his points even though interlaced with jokes actually made a lot of sense and were thought provoking...Makes for an interesting night laughing hard at non PC jokes

I've seen every episode of his Mind of Mencia show on Comedy Central. He's one of the funniest comics around today IMHO.

I agree. He's hysterical. Sorry I missed his performance last night; I would love to have seen it.

He was great of course, but the opening acts were also excellent...Had the dwarf from his show Brad who was hysterical, a female writer from his show who made fun of Crossroads and an Asian comic who was almost as funny as Carlos
Definitely worth the 40 bucks as the show lasted 2 1/2 hours...Much better than the Dave Attell show a few years back at the Looney Bin
He did promise to be back next year for those who missed it

If y'all are into comedy, the Looney Bin usually has pretty decent acts. Just be prepared to take whatever you wear to the dry cleaners the next day.
