It's funny -- the road and bridge people get their money, and the chunks of I-40 falling off suddenly lose their newsworthiness.

Remember back during the push for more roads and bridges how every night the news was focused on making you too scared to drive to work?

Well.. fast forward 'til today -- same bridges, same "dangers", not newsworthy...

what gives?

Could be that there isn't as big of a problem with roads and bridges as some would like you to believe.

ODOT is currently working on a seperate website that will have a timeline an updated pictures.I e-mailed John Bowman and thats what Ive been told,He also sent a better picture of the new allignment,here is his e- mail j boman@odot.org John is the Project Development Engineer and is very helpful with questions about the new allignment.

Gee, really? My favorite was when they paid that principal to say how scared they were to use a certain bridge on the way to school.

Totally classic.

I wish I could do a montage of those scare videos.
