I wanted to let everyone know, if you see less of Keith and me, we've decided to take some of your complaints into consideration. In an attempt to remain neutral, we're probably going to take more the role that Todd takes. We will post on less controversial issues, make announcements, start threads, etc. but we'll leave most of the controversial discussion to you. That means we'll still post on city issues, and the like, but we'll probably stay away from topics pertaining to politics, faith and religion, etc.

We will still be on the site the same amount of time, so if you need help, or have a concern, please feel free to contact us by PM or email. Also, if you see a questionable post, please hit the "Report Post" button at the bottom of the post.

Thanks and enjoy!

What he said.

As you will notice, we have both also changed our avatars and our signatures to something very neutral, so that our avatars will not be representative of anything controversial.

Why shouldn't you be able to take a stand for what you believe/think/feel? I didn't know people were complaining, did they give a reason and I missed it? You're all people and are entitled to your thoughts like the rest of us...

We'll still post on certain issues, but on more controversial issues like those surrounding politics and religion we want to remain neutral, to avoid turning people away from the site. Karried has always been good about staying neutral on subjects, but Keith and I have both crossed the line a few times.

Patrick, folks on this site sometimes have skins which are far too thin for my taste. If you have an opinion, you should feel free to express it. You and Keith put a lot into this site and thus deserve to reap the rewards.

So long as you don't edit, delete, or ban people just because you don't agree with them, I see no problem.

Just posting so I don't have to keep seeing "Dianetics Workshop" everytime I go to the home page.

Although Midtowner's statement about people not having thick enough skin made me giggle. Mid's as tough as they come, so I could definately see him getting annoyed by many of us. :)

I will continue to post my views because I go after the post it self. I attack the argument and/or the point of view.
<O:p</O:p

In some cases, my raw thoughts never make it to the board because I read and re-read my views before I click to post. I always ask myself two questions. Is this clear and concise and do I need to re-word my thoughts just so I do not come across too callously. <O:p</O:p
<O:p</O:p

Never in my history of message board membership have I attacked an individual nor have I made any conscious effort to insult someone. <O:p</O:p
<O:p</O:p

Those of you that know me understand my way of thinking. Most of my posts are meant to stir up debate or give the group a chuckle. <O:p</O:p
<O:p</O:p

I have been doing this message board thing for almost 6 years now. I know most of you from okc-cityhall.org, oklahomasown.com and now this site. You all should know by now that if you disagree with my views you can PM and we will chat about it. <O:p</O:p
<O:p</O:p

Just understand I will always tell you my direct opinion of everything. I refuse to sugarcoat something that I think needs to be said. I will however address the topic as tactful as possible with utmost respect in mind.<O:p</O:p

Actually, no I don't get annoyed with people here. Not even when at one time I was apparently the source of 5 complaints per day to the mods...

Hey guys, what am I averaging these days?

I haven't gotten a complaint since you've returned, Midtowner. Have you turned a new leaf? :) Or are we just not freaking out as much now?

I'm going to complain about Midtowner--he says "oh snap!" way too much ;)
