Patrick 01-17-2006, 04:47 PM Hey everyone. We just upgraded the message board software to the most current edition. There's only one problem. The old Photo Gallery isn't compatible with the new system.
We've spent all of the money that was raised in the last fundraiser to pay for server expenses and to pay for the new upgrade in the software. We don't have any money available to upgrade the Photo Gallery to make it work with the new system.
The cost would be $139.
If you want us to keep the Photo Gallery, this is your chance to help keep this feature.
Please reply to this post with the amount you'd be willing to contribute, or if you'd like to keep it private, send me a PM or an email.
Call it a pledge if you will.
If we've reached the money within the next week or so, I'll give you an address to send the money to, or we can set up something for credit card users.
If we don't raise the money in a week or two, we'll just do without.

I can probably do $20 this Friday. Gosh, I would hate to lose that beautiful picture of sweetdaisy.

Well, we just don't have the money for the new software upgrade. But, if we can raise enough here, we can pay for it. So far, we're up to $30 of $139.
I can pledge $50 on Thursday.
What do I need to do? Get on PayPal or what?
It is the least I can do especially since I forgot to give in the other pledge drives.

We still need about $40 more.
Actually, since Paypal takes a cut out of the proceeds, let's try to raise $50 or $60 more.
Anyone want to step up and donate $10 or $20 for the Photo Gallery software?

Thanks to all of the above members for their willingness to go above and beyond, to keep the photo gallery going. You are truly the cream of the crop. It is interesting to me that, out of the 7 members that donated towards the photo gallery, 5 of them are single people. That tells me that these single members have had to sacrifice, in order to give what they gave. Believe me, $20 is a lot to me, so I know it's a lot for the single people. Heck, $10 is a lot of money to me.
