Can you give everyone that's a registered user of this forum a mass email stating that things are getting going and discussion is heating up on the forum and we'd like to see people participate. Give them the URL.

Tat might help things out, because aren't there like 55 registered users. That's what it says at the bottom anyways. If we can get them al on the forum, and show that a lot of activity is going on now, maybe more people will participate.

Also, just a suggestion on condensing te forums......

Seems like some of the forums are redundant. "The News of OKC," "OKC and surrounding area talk", "OKC rumor Mill", and "OKC Talk Lounge" are all basically the same. Maybe the others can be deleted, and just the one we've been using be kept.

Also, the two Real Estate forums seem to be redundant.

Just a suggestion, but you might limit it to:
1. OKC and surrounding area Talk- General Discussion
2. "Site Rules, Updates, and Member Info" sections: "Forum Rules", "Notes from the Forum Administrator", "Feedback/Suggestion Box"
3. Arts & Entertainment (Just one forum)
4. The Poll Vault (Just allow polls to be carried out in any forum)
5. Just 1 real estate forum
6. Just 1 Sports Forum
7. Just 1 Politics Forum (maybe this be included with #1
8. Just 1 Education Forum
9. 1 advertising forum
10. 1 Religion forum


If you wanted to make it easier.....Just have two main forums.....one to discuss the city area, and one to discuss everything else.

All excellent suggestions. I sent a note yesterday to the guys to start cutting some of the redundant forums. I will also start drafting a mass email to all the members.
