Almost moved to Tucson, AZ years ago. Desert is pretty groovy, plus there's no grass to mow! In addition, none of those pesky wildfires. :D

Buy a laser level...they work very well. But a laser level doesn't say, "Up, right, right, left, down right, up, up, down." to stimulate my emotions.

Good point. Well just adopt my method of hanging pictures. Hold it up, find the center, then pop the nail in the wall. I figure I'm the only one seeing it anyway. :D

New invention alert:

Talking laser level... for straight picture hanging and emotional needs meeting.. all in one handy dandy package! Just don't snuggle with it at night!

Buy the one from Sears---Craftsman---that has a tripod, and it levels itself. I have both types---one that levels itself and one that you have to turn the little screws to level it---the one that you have to level is lots cheaper, but the other one is awesome.

Hmmmm, another tool.....I think y'all may have missed the point. No wonder it's so difficult to meet someone.

That's why we invented the talking laser.. it gives emotional gratification as well as leveling the picture!

But, Leon, the tool will in the long run be a lot cheaper to maintain and a much better companion; don'tcha think? And if you do not get the talking version, it will never whine. :busterbun :irule:

Whew! Now, Leon, I will not be alone in the hotseat as some of those hotties---oh! I mean "hotheads" LOL---begin to come alive for the day. LOL

They'll forgive us. They know fellas don't always think in the best manner.....accustomed to sticking our unshaven in our mouths.

I am thinking that maybe I am better off if I just keep my mouth shut...my mom once told me "Son, dont ever argue with a woman cuz you'll never win" I tried to argue with her about that, she won:doh:, maybe someday I will learn.

What's interesting is that we could have a thread titled:

"What I hate about being married"
"What I hate about being divorced"
"What I hate about being a widow"

Sometimes the grass is always greener ... :-)

I was just randomly reading some old threads...We used to have some pretty serious discussions here. There was a ton of emotion-tweaking going on here. You know...everybody was PMing other individuals about what someone else said. And some people checked this forum ten times a day!!

I'm ok with being single, but I sure wish I had a friend to do stuff with sometimes. Society looks down on people who go everywhere alone.

February 14...i hate this day most of all

What's funny is I've always hated February 14th even though I've been in relationships since my sophomore year of high school. Girls really get built up w/ this idea of maybe this is the one day of the year that a guy can be romantic and just go out of your way to do something nice but it never happens.

But, I will say, I am in a great relationship right now and all though I don't want to get my hopes up, for the first time since I have been dating, I am looking forward to the upcoming Valentine's Day.

I thought chivalry and romance were fairy tales. One man has shown me otherwise.

What I hate is seeing that really beautiful sunset and realizing you don't have anyone to say "wow look at that sunset" to. Sometimes you just need someone to share with.

Doesn't that just about say it all?

Yes it does. It drives me nuts sometimes being alone but you deal with it and go on...
