I was listening to one of the more controversial morning radio shows this morning and want your opinion.

Do Bell Ringers steal?

The DJ was raving about the Salvation Army bell ringers and how they take the collection kettles to the bathroom turn the kettles upside down and use tweezers to pull out money. According to one source on the show they can usually net $600-$700 during the Christmas season. He also claimed that a good percentage of bell ringers are actually felons serving community service.

Do you think this is true?

could be true. With the revolving door justice system, a lot of judges give these people more and more community service instaed of a stretch in the joint.

A side note. Bell ringers are suppose to dress as Santa Claus. Why is it that Oklahoma City will not get with tradition?
