I have heard rumors that the old grocery store will be renovated soon and that it will not be a grocery store. From what I am hearing, it would be something in the family fun category. They recently held an auction for the equipment inside.

Personally, I would like to see a grocery store again since most of the grocery stores in MWC are further west and mostly on Reno.

Well it's never been that great anyway. Crest is so close, it's hard to want to go to either an overpriced Albertson's or a piece of crap gross store like the place has been ever since it stopped being an Albertson's.

Much like the old IGA across the street that is Shape now, it will probably be more successful as a subdivided commercial space than as a grocery store.
