The parking enforcement was out in full force for the Thunder Cavs game. She was just going down Reno Ticket after Ticket. This was from 4:45-5. As I was walking too the arena another guy and I got talking and he said he saw them also for one of the games back in Nov. He said they were writing ticket after ticket also for that game. After the game I saw 3 cars with tickets just from the arena to the crystal bridge. Just a heads up if your going to a game. If you park after 5 just pay the $1.50

Enforcing street parking for the extra hour between 5pm and 6pm has always been such an eye roll.

I know I have seen so many people pull up after 5 park and just walk to the game not paying. I'm sure there are many that have gotten away with it for a long time. Now that the Thunder are good maybe the city has woken up. I bet she wrote 10 tickets just on the little stretch on reno from the arena too the end of the park
If the law is you should pay for parking at that time then you should pay for parking or expect to get a ticket. Too many rules are for thee and not for me people.

I thought the parking enforcement was only till 5pm? I mean i get it if you park at 445, well they're gonna get you...just pay the couple of cents.
But are you saying Boulder that you heard they are looking to change it to 8pm?
One of the nice things about events downtown, is that you dont have to pay after 5 or weekends. Now you go into any garage/lot, well you have to get raped by their fee. But i sincerely hope that they don't start trying to enforce after 5pm. All that will do is stifle people coming down to events and the park/etc. Or at least piss them off and make them that much more annoyed about the whole experience. All for the sake of paying for those parking meters.

^Monday-Friday 8am-6pm. I have very rarely seen parking enforcement writing tickets after 5pm, but it can happen.
OKC is actually one of the few 'big' cities that actually has some form of free street parking still. And having weekends free is almost unheard of. In fact, I see people paying at night and during weekends all the time, I figure they are unfamiliar with DT or may not be from OKC at all.

Fortunately, parking tickets are cheap. I have had my share.

I lived at the Park Harvey for years and they don't have parking so I always parked on the street. Getting several tickets a month was still cheaper than paying for a parking garage so I just accepted that it would happen on occasion. I bet I had over 100 tickets in my time there lol

Don't say that too loud, they might raise the price of the tickets! Or start one of those point systems!
