They should build a Freeway or Turnpike between Luther and Stillwater at the Cimarron Tpke spur. Along with the south Extension Tpke it would get used.

Toll free freeway. No more tolls. But I think this would be a good thing.

That's a heck of a lot of money just to not have to make that little track from 35. Why would we need this?

IF they build a north connection for the kickapoo turnpike ..

it would serve most of this purpose ..

I am in the same boat here. Is there a need for this?

I-35 north of Waterloo tends to thin out with traffic all the way to the Kansas border and HWY 51 into Stillwater is 4 lane and divided almost the entire way. Other than a handful of OSU events where traffic would increase, there isn't a lot of back and forth traffic to Stillwater that isn't already being handled by I-35 efficiently.

I think the Kickapoo turnpike is going to be a secondary loop at some point. Now they could build a northern extension up towards Stillwater
