ULI Oklahoma Hosts the 11th Annual Impact Awards
Recognizing projects that exemplify the best practices in local development

On February 7, 2025, Urban Land Institute Oklahoma will host their 11th Annual Impact Awards at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. The event recognizes projects that exemplify best practices in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities, through each project’s contributions to the built environment and the public realm. The finalists represent those projects and initiatives that were determined to best promote the creation of resilient communities, intelligent densification and urbanization, as well as outstanding quality of design and construction. This year’s event is co-chaired by Justin Brannon (Chris George Homes) and Maria Angelica Prado (Guernsey).

Finalists for each of the categories were selected from a public nomination process. Projects completed in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area within the last two years were eligible for nomination.

Finalists for this year’s Impact Awards are:

I wonder what makes 'NW 57th St & Miller' special. Are these types of homes so common nowadays?

Looking at the old googlemaps photo, it looks like it was a single family ranch style home.

The property that was built in its place is not single family, but three homes (two facing 57th, living space over the garage facing Miller). Those are pretty common in the Plaza District and CTP, but not so much Belle Isle area. Good density building in the area.
