I am reading about the ONG Voluntary Fixed Price Program in the newsletter that just came with my ONG bill. I have never signed up for this in the 45 years I've been an ONG customer. Should I be signing up for this? Who here does and do you save money doing it. I use average billing and my current gas bill is $75 for a 2100 sq ft house with only gas heat, gas hot water, and a gas clothes dryer. I think my bill is reasonable for averaging over the last 12 months.

Go to their site and look at the bottom for "cost of gas." It breaks down pricing for the last 36 months.
It will allow you to see if it will benefit you.

I signed up for it. I have done it once before when a co-worker mentioned that the price of natural gas was really low. I have a gut feeling that winter will be colder than most other years.

I signed up as well. The quoted price was at least a dollar cheaper than every month last winter.

I am logged into my ONG account and see the option to toggle for 12 month fixed pricing, but I don't see the link to compare what it would be on the price plan when compared to last year?
