Yesh going 8/20 from three and winning by 19 is nuts.

Unless this team has major injuries the will finish no. 1 in team defense.

In a year where college football may as well not even be played in this state I am very grateful the Thunder are back and looking forward to another great season!

Almost must full tonight but yes good crowd. The sound seemed off to me for some reason in the arena tonight. Interesting conversation with the guy next too me. His son wanted to come he was probably 8 years old. He said he would follow them during the Durant years but haven't followed them in a while. He wanted to know if we were going to be any good this year. I was like ah yeah probably the best team we ever have had. Are people still lacking behind on following the Thunder cause they were just ok after Durant left and were really bad for 3 years?

The Thunder were only truly bad for two seasons during the rebuild. The franchise has had only three sub-40 win seasons in its 17 year history.

I know a few people that are casual Thunder fans and have also asked me if they’re supposed to be good this season. It’s strange. Maybe it’s because watching the team locally is difficult for the average person?

Anyway, the team looks awesome and the defense has a chance to be historic.

Mitchell looks really good out there and it’s pretty impressive that he’s getting rotation minutes this early. Should be fun to see how he develops. Great move by Presti to buy back into the second round to pick him up.

You’re right. It did sound a little off.

Also of note, the crowd was still mostly there and chanting “ref you suck” after a questionable call in the 4th…we were up 20 with 3 minutes left lol. Definitely feels line everyone is more locked in.

Being able to watch the Thunder on Fox Sports Oklahoma was one of the reasons I got into the Thunder. Me and my friend watched almost every game, switching between our houses haha. Watching them grow into a respectable team in 2010 was a formative time in my sports life.

Coach D. made a great adjustment at halftime. We man handled them the entire second half.

Maybe somewhere like Chalk at Chisholm Creek or Bar 74 by the railroad tracks?

There really should be a bar or brewery that leans into this, maybe partnering with the popular podcasts to encourage hard core fans to come out, and really create a great experience for watching road games especially.

Lively Beerworks is doing The sports animal post game show. They will always have the game on. I'm sure as the season goes along there will be more watch parties and I hope a bigger push by bars to promote the games.

Weird game tonight. The team played unusually . I felt SGA was sick or something was bothering him.
Good win anyway. They have a great roster and do awesome in defense.
Arena was not full which was surprising to me.

Storms + late tip scared some people off. Last minute tickets were super cheap and reflected the attendance.

The Thunder led the league in 3pt % last season. Even after filling it up last night, they are still almost the worst team in the league so far this year. Obviously very early in the season. But the way they play team defense, if the deep ball starts falling for them they are going to win a lot of games. And many of those games won't be close.

Our offense hasn’t really clicked yet and we’re still blowing teams out. Long season, but we are looking scary good.

Dort was on fire from 3 last night and I’ve really enjoyed seeing our rookie Mitchell playing with such confidence and at key moments of games.

I can give the attendance a pass because of such a late start however no excuses for better teams and weekend games better be full. Not liking SGA taking 10 3's in a game but I think the team is experimenting a bit still with thing and when Hartenstein comes back the offense will like better. I think the are trying to run the offense like he is playing that way when he is ready to come back we don't have to change things again. Did anyone catch the Devon Tower last night with the OKC symbol at the top and blue lightning coming down the side of the building.

Go Support this team. Tickets in Loud City not that expensive. Street Parking is free after 6. Park near a street car stop and spend $3 to take to the game.

I don’t think the weather will prevent most people from tuning into the broadcast tonight, though the 9:30 start might.

We did not play very well last night and still won by 16. If Paolo was in the game, it may have been closer. Our defense is so much fun to watch. It's hard for opposing teams to screen and roll to get favorable matchups with this group.

For those complaining about attendance and team support-----I noticed that the attendance in Los Angeles last Saturday night at the brand-new Intuit Dome against the Clippers was 16,827; while yesterday's rain soaked, Monday night game drew 17,044 in OKC against the Orlando Magic.
