At the SE corner of NW16th and Drexel, I noticed the former Homeland, etc. has opened under the name Black Friday. Exterior signage shows special price deals on different days of the week. Anyone know anything about it?

Ha, I didn't want to say anything, but that was my first impression too! I can't just dig through those bins looking for a "bargain".

I drive by it twice a day, to and from work. The last two Fridays, there was a line around the building at 7:45 a.m., people waiting to get in. The parking lot has been packed every day I drive by it.

I still don't get why OKC can't get any of the large national grocery chains to build here. Kroger, Albertsons, HEB (not national, but still), etc.

You mean other than Kroger delivery, Sprouts, Aldi, Winco, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Natural Grocers, Costco, and Walmart Neighborhood Market?

The mid-tier grocery stores are struggling and being systematically replaced by specialty and deep-discount stores.

I badly want an HEB or a brick-and-mortar Kroger (you can't get all of Kroger's products via delivery)
