US 77 is being Rerouted North of Thackerville

The New Route will be safer than the current one. there are also plans for a overpass for us 77 over the Railroad Tracks

That section is called the "S" curve and its always a little scary driving through there. That railroad underpass is very narrow

Yeah, from satellite images, it had looked like they have already done some work on the road bed almost the entire length, granted had not started on paving yet (unless they somehow were able to utilize a former road/rail path for the project).
