Thunder might be a big bruiser type. Philly and Denver just pushed us around. We have trouble with Physical teams. Worried about Minnesota and Lakers coming up. Next 13 games only 2 are against non playoffs teams. Utah and Memphis. Plus we have the 2 in season tournament games I'm sure one of them will be playoff type team so 15 games until the end of the year. Currently in great shape at 11-5 If we can go even just 6-9 we start the new year off 17-14 January gets a bit easier and February is very manageable

Two tough losses. Timberwolves played great defense and we were cold, a good sign it was still competitive.

I think Mark needs to tweak some substitutions from 3Q-4Q regarding Chet/Shai. They are clearly our best players and should be staggered in close-score situations.

Disappointing to let that one slip away but it was a close loss to the top ranked team in the West on the road. Their defense was swarming in that second half.

So it turns out that everyone involved (including her parents) was aware of the situation, it was understood that she lied about her age and there was no creepy intent behind anything, and everyone thought it was settled until some anonymous asshole went on a smear campaign 2 weeks ago. Definitely not a kneejerk reaction to call out the misguided folks claiming he should be kicked off the team based on anonymous twitter posts and then those same people claiming that everyone here was just fine with the situation because the "foul" was "committed" by a thunder player. Kneejerk would imply that I made snap judgements (kick him off the team! Do it now!) based on little to no information. I waited two weeks until more information became available to call out the people who basically claimed that those of us defending GIddey and saying "let's wait before passing judgement" were cool with pedophiles.

And the allegations/rumors weren’t “damning if true”…because they were true and they weren’t damning when placed in the context of the situation…which is what everyone defending Giddey said we should wait on. Sounds good. But I think back to when I had teenage sons and the challenge of the things they got themselves into. Even with our smart, supportive and economically successful family, I cannot imagine the stress of having a daughter get into a challenging situation regarding possible sexual activity, putting it behind us, and then having it resurface a couple years later with the enhancement of TMZ reporting on it to the world; a professional athlete making life changing sums of money, and the possibility I might have criminal liability as a parent who did not control my minor child in California. A settlement for what? If something was being pursued against Giddey it would be the state filing criminal charges against him, not the family. It wouldn’t be a civil case.

A normal lawyer I would agree but going for someone that is constantly in the public view with her cases, I don't. She represents "women" that have accused high profile individuals of sexual wrongdoing, this is her bread and butter. She will probably hold a presser soon and talk about what they want.

it was insane, especially after being up 20+ at one point. No idea how we pulled that one out.

That 4th quarter was insane. A 30-0 run is historic. The fact that the 2nd youngest team in the NBA currently pulled it together (with no timeouts left) is a testament to how good this team can be. Thunder are back at 2nd place in the west. Crazy!

After watching the Oklahoma City Thunder under their various head coaches, P.J. Carlesimo, Scott Brooks, Billy Donovan and our current
Coach Mark Daigneault, Mark has these guys better organized and willing to listen to his take on the game--notice how players are seated when he's delivering instructions and strategy.

When the Thunder loses a lead, you can't count them out. Recall Durant & Westbrook completely falling apart when they loss big leads of 5-20 points or more.

Daignault hasn't made the playoffs yet, but you get the feeling that once they do, they'll be competitive.

That was quite a game last night. The crowd's energy was also good. Not quite back to the old days but close. Considering this was a TBD game and tickets just went on sale a week ago, I was pleasantly surprised. There didn't seem to be as many Steph fans as a normal Golden State game either.

Also, it didn't seem as though you had all the Warrior fans who support Golden State as loud as they usually are. I've seen strong support for the opponents (Lakers and Warriors) over the years. This was one of the most vocal crowds we've had in years post KD-WB era.
