They are set to open this week (except one). Menus are on the website. Looks like a nice variety and prices are reasonable. Hopefully one of our fellow OKCtalkers will give them a try soon and report back. Nice cross branding on website and menu without being overdone.

I may run out to the Murray location and give their breakfast a try this weekend.... I have about a ton of pea gravel to move and spread by hand.... So I'll need some calories.

And that Oklahoma Slinger sounds like something I need in my life!

Nice that they made a nod to common sense and will be open 7 days a week.

Will be interesting to see if that schedule lasts.... I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually rotate into 5-6 days a week.... Mondays and Tuesdays are slow in urban areas for restaurants. State parks are going to be fairly empty those 2 days also.

Agreed. My post was more in referance to the previous operator being closed on Sunday at resort locations.

Yeah... My guess is that was possibly for religious reasons as their other businesses don't operate on Sundays either.

Business wise I would think Saturday and Sunday are going to be the days you make a profit at the lakes... The rest of the week you're probably just trying to break even.

I'm just happy to see it open again. The Murray location is nice and the patio overlooking the lake is a beautiful view.

Anyone made it to one of these new facilities? I'm extremely curious as to how they are doing on all fronts... food, staffing and service, price, etc. Opening multiple locations all at the same time is something that I don't think even the most seasoned restaurant chain might try to pull off, but crazier things have happened!

I got busy with farm stuff and didn't make it to Murray opening weekend... Definitely not going out there this weekend... So maybe the following weekend.

Wondering if anyone here has as of yet been able to make a trip out and see how they are doing some few months in?

I've not made it yet..... The lack of advertising isn't boosting my confidence in them making it.... Swadley's did a lot of advertising for Foggy Bottom and every time I went to the Lake Murray location it was always busy.

If it wasn't for OKCTalk I wouldn't even know The Lookout had opened out there.
