Does anyone know who owns these apartments that have been fenced off and in very poor shape for a few years now? This spot would be such a great place to build new housing, especially with the new development just north of it, but the buildings seem to be deteriorating by the week.

And they are notorious for just sitting on properties and waiting for prices to go up.

Those apartments have been in that shape for years now.

I suppose they're current with paying property taxes? It's a shame Okc code enforcement can't put strong pressure on property owners who hold on to neglected properties.

I don't think there's anything Okc or Ok county can do as long as they abide by the empty buildings code and pay taxes. It's a shame since there's been updates to a lot of the surrounding area. There should be a way that put pressure on such owners to keep the momentum of a once nasty area going in a positive direction.
