The Tulsa Club said rooms for the three-day event were booked way back in 2021. In terms of economic impact, the wrestling tournament is estimated to have an impact of $19 million dollars on the local economy. After the final data is tabulated, that number could be as high as $40 million dollars.

My mom once worked for a guy who won several medals and wrestling championship for Oklahoma State and he always wanted to train me to wrestle. I was more interested in basketball at the time but I really really regret not letting him train me now that I have a better understanding of how special that relationship was. Anyways, happy to see Tulsa hosting the championships.

And people will show up to try to get a glimpse of the god-emperor himself, Donald Trump (bleh). He was a guest of Mullins.

This is the set up for the BOK Centers' 2023 NCAA Wrestling Championships. BTW, what happened to the great traditional wrestling programs at OU and OSU--were there any teams competing for a national title or just individuals represented.
