After Channel 4 built a brand new facility and Channel 9 did the same in the Century Center, Channel 5 is now getting into the act.

They've filed a $1.4 million building permit to renovate their facility at 1300 E. Britton. Building permits do not include furniture, fixtures and equipment so this will be a multi-million $ project.

1st KFOR with a brand new facility, KWTV moves downtown into a beautiful modern space, and now KOCO! Probably makes sense to renovate/add on to KOCO since the facility is only 40 years old, versus KWTV and KFOR having facilities that were pushing 70 years before moving into their new spaces. Excellent investment by Hearst TV.
