One of the big issues that is not talked about enough is how it is increasingly becoming more dangerous on Oklahoma roads. In order to bring more attention to this issue I wanted to start this thread and my goal will be to post every roadway fatality in Oklahoma for the next year. I wanted to this after Wednesday was a particularly fatal day with six different lives lost.

Those last two could have lived by wearing seatbelts and following the law. The guy in that vehicle was barely injured.

Nearly 40% of fatalities could be prevented with seatbelts. The unfortunate issue is people know that they should wear a seatbelt and that it could save their life but in their minds the probability they will be in a car crash is impossibly low. I don't know but for me its literally an ingrained habit and even if I am moving my car from the street to my parking spot I will put on my seatbelt
