I'm not sure how this will affect Thunder games, but I read that Bally's parent company (Diamond) missed payment on the debt used to buy them. Sounds like they might be headed towards bankruptcy. Hopefully they can still operate, or even better, NBA come up with a better alternative.

they are for sure going to go into Bankruptcy they plan to continue to operate during bankruptcy so this should not have any effect on the remainder of this years NBA season ..

the MLB season and next years NBA season are very much up in the air ..

(leagues might get their rights back ? a different media partner buys them ?? we really don't know)

It was designed to not be particularly sustainable. Won’t be surprised if Bezos ends up with the rights and bumps everyone’s annual Prime fees accordingly.

I recall that commissioner Silver mentioned at the All Star Game press conference that the NBA has already been paid for this season by Diamond, so we should be okay through the regular season.

No matter how this season ends is okay with me because I think they’re gonna firmly make it to the playoffs next year.

I think we will have a great young nucleus and will compete in the playoffs SOON. If they would combine some of those future draft picks for a couple more top rate picks or players we should be outstanding.

Definitely think that’s in play after next season. I’d imagine the only addition next season is their ‘23 draft pick.

That was a big win for the Thunder last night. It felt like the biggest crowd of the season. Maybe spring break had something to do with it. Or maybe people bought tickets before KD got traded but still came? All of the games are going to matter for the rest of the season. You can tell the guys really want to make the playoffs with their intensity and the fact that Shai should probably not being playing at all because of his injury. He was clutching his side most of the night. 6th through 13th seeds are still up for grabs at this point and we could end up anywhere in that mix.

That's why Shai is on restrictions. Highly doubt if he will be playing in the next game against Toronto; maybe against Phoenix, and probably miss the 1st or 2nd game against the Clippers in Los Angeles.

If the Thunder should win any games without Shai--could boost the Thunder's playoff hopes.

The game in Toronto will be the key.

Good call. SGA & Dort are natives of Canada. Both are listed as starters in tonight's game according to ThunderWire. https://okcthunderwire.usatoday.com/lists/thunder-vs-raptors-lineups-injury-reports-and-broadcast-info-for-thursday/

OKC just can't get to that .500 hump. All these games are going to matter coming up, a couple games is going to determine fighting for your play-in spot versus being a 6th or 5th seed. This is the most parity I have ever seen in the NBA. Absolutely wild out in the west.

Looking at the schedule, the Thunder have a very tough week coming up. Clippers are rocking with Russ right now and we play them twice and Lakers all in LA. After that, we have an easier week before the final week gets very tough again.

Eclipsing that .500 mark Anonymous is the hurdle we can't seem to clear; however, looking at the standings we could make the play-in/playoffs or end in a position for another decent lottery pick.

Another lottery match comparable to Jaylen Williams (JDub), you could see a more experienced Thunder team with Chet (more height) coming aboard next season.

Got to give it up to Coach Mark Daigneault. he has the players buying in to team play.

Didn't attend the 2:30 matinee, the 17,897 (98%) listed attendance appears to be the largest Paycom Center crowd in the past two seasons in an arena that seats 18,203.

The Covid outbreak had a negative affect on attendance which came along during the Thunder's rebuild.

We know the City is working on putting together a new state-of-the-art arena. Oklahoma City will need to invest in a better arena with more total square footage and amenities to allow for a long term relationship with the NBA.

Predict brighter days ahead for the NBA in OKC. Hope the City will get input from the voters who supported a facility to bring a major NBA-NHL franchise to our city and the ownership group.

right lots of teams didn't have fans to start that season ( because of the states they were in) but every single team in the league had fans at games that season ..

except for the Thunder .. (and in OKC they could have had fans at 100% of games that season) because of that they lost a bunch of season ticket holders ..

OKC as 5 seed this season would be the wildest timeline. With the #2 draft pick sitting out.

I am so glad we did not shut it down after the ASB. These young guys deserve some playoff time! Hopefully we don't get matched against the LeLakers in the play-in tournament.

The defense was outstanding. Probably one of the best wins of the season. We have the Clippers first round pick and every loss by them enhances our draft. If PG is out for a while it might get really good for us. I saw a clip where they had to carry him into the locker room.

Dort went rogue and a strange lineup going into Q4. Letting Clips sink something like 12/14 threes in a 10 minute span will definitely not get the job done. Really want SGA to play tonight, but he has been rested on game 2 of B2Bs.
