both Lankford and Inhofe voted no. Inhofe should get zero benefits after this insane betrayal of veterans and he is the ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee

inhofe is gone in november but his family is set for life.
Lankford needs to go but he will continue to get voted in every 6 years.
I care about this because I'm a service connected combat veteran and I would like to believe I'm not the only one on this forum.

I called Lankford's office after his first no vote on this bill. I was told he voted no because the VA didn't have the resources to fully fund this program that it would take money away from other VA programs. So instead of fixing the VA and caring for these vets, his answer was "I can't help you, but did you see that I gave corporation's and 1%s a big tax break in 2017?".
He's truly despicable.

crickets about this issue in this forum...shocker, 122 views in 3 hours and 1 comment. Maybe if this was about a new hotel or another high end restaurant it would get more attention.
at the least, maybe a few people looked at this thread that had no clue what the PACT Act was and now they know so they can act accordingly

as stated, political threads/posts are a no-go. they generally devolve into shouting matches and basically just create bad blood between users that spills over into the other parts of the forum.
