K-Chick, at NW 178th & Western, is now open. It's in the same shopping center as The Sushi Bar and near Upper Crust and Louie's.

We tried it today and it was quite good and we felt the prices were reasonable. It is a very small restaurant with maybe nine tables, with only three of those being for 4-6 people and the rest being 2-person tables. They were also very busy, with all tables occupied when we left at 12:00 pm on a Saturday, and two families were entering after we left. They also did a steady take-out business for the hour we were there.

Positives: The wings are good, the portions are large and the price is reasonable.

Negatives: They only have sweet tea and canned soda. Their water is not filtered and not the best tasting. A limited selection of beer and several varieties of Soju are on the menu, but they don't have their beer/liquor license yet.

This was a chicken tenders dish with Spicy Gochujang sauce.

The top two are honey butter wings and garlic soy wings (not sure which is which), The second row is mild soy wings and gochujang wings, and the bottom is spicy soy wings. My favorites were the soy garlic, gochujang and mild soy. the honey butter was good and the spicy soy was pretty spicy for the typical American, which I am. The gochujang wings were not spicy, while the gochujang on the tenders seemed a little spicy. Not sure if they are different sauces, or it was our imaginations. I think both are called "spicy gochujang".

Each order was $10 for six wings. There are larger orders available. Three of us ate to uncomfortable fullness and we took home a ton of wings. They are not small.
