Shannon Roper's team is Happy Plate Concepts. In addition to the original S&B's location at NW 59th & May and the 4 Sunnyside Diner locations, they also own/operate Taqueria El Camino and Railyard Pie Co (both in the Edmond Railyard development).

So Red Dragon Express and Ghost Dragon Express are completely different businesses? And when I googled Ghost Dragon they are listed as permanently closed, is this still true?

This is great! I’ve been trying to do this in my head for years. Thanks Pete!

FYI, it won't change anything operationally (other than probably an increased expansion push) but Mark Fischer just finalized the purchase of Provision Concepts a few weeks ago. Fischer owns Skybridge Construction, Skybridge Real Estate, and Pointe Vista/Chickasaw Point on Lake Texoma among a bunch of other companies and properties in different industries. He's also the former CEO of Chaparral Energy and recently sold sold Dippin Dots after buying it out of bankruptcy in 2009.

He also purchased Coop Ale Works at around the same time.

Skybridge is the company doing the work at NW 164th and May and at his Texoma locations, so they can handle this project, I am sure.

Maybe they have their Skybridge assets spread a little thin with multiple projects and that is the reason for the delay?

Mark Fischer or Scott Fischer? I thought Scott had Dippin Dots & sold it. I realize all his money came from Dad but I thought Scott was the one doing everything now and presumed Mark was retired.

Did he purchase Provision Concepts, or he is just partnering with them on the new locations at his development on 164th and May? I believe it is the latter.

Scott was the CEO, Mark was the majority owner.

i believe that he acquired a large % but not all of it .. he is now a full partner .. and they will increase their expansion plans ..

Mark hasn't retired and owned it. Scott had a share of it as well and served as CEO but Mark's group owned it.

Purchased a large enough percentage to say "I bought it" and put it on the wall of groups they own lol. Definitely not just the new locations at 164th and May, but I believe Skybridge is doing the construction on those locations.

I would imagine he's one of several owners but think he has a controlling share. They have some massive expansion plans for several of their brands.

Armory deal is likely still happening and possibly some additional alcohol providers involved but there are some hurdles that they have to jump through including some fairly concerning environmental remediation issues. Based on what I heard I feel like it will probably still happen...just may be slow going for awhile (so more of the same).

From what I've been told, if it does happen, it will be several years down the road and will not include a hotel, etc.

Of course. That was going to be something extremely unique and special. Obviously that can’t happen lol.

I hope whoever told you that is wrong. I was planning on staying there when it opened. Looked like an awesome concept.

yeah I’ve heard the hotel part is the most influx of all of it but that it hasn’t been completely ruled out yet. On the flip side, I’m excited about some other potential alcohol related tenants that may end up being a part of it.
