Are these just additional fields where the big red arrow is? Or is that rendering the entirety of the NOKC fields? I'm having trouble finding the info on the Maps page. Pete 06-01-2022, 03:16 PM I believe there will be the new fields that are now under construction but also improvements to the existing fields and related amenities. okatty 06-01-2022, 06:31 PM ^ That is correct. New fields are where the arrow is and existing are to the south of that. But also will be lots of other improvements such as new clubhouse, indoor training, some turf fields, top end covered bench areas, etc. Going to be really nice and will be able to host large regional/national tournaments. A big push behind this was the ability to attract those types of events. barrettd 06-01-2022, 08:33 PM Very cool! Our daughter just played her first year of soccer out there, the latest of our kids to do so, and she loved it. So hopefully we'll get to experience some of the new amenities if she sticks with it! The renderings look amazing. thunderbird 06-01-2022, 10:17 PM Much needed, NOKC fields are garbage as is, this is a great use of MAPS money for the kids. okatty 06-01-2022, 10:17 PM Years ago there were “parent days” when we would walk the fields with buckets and pick up rocks while the kids practiced. HA. Those “kids” are now in their 30’s….and the parents….well, you can do the math! It’s come a long way since then, and needless to say will become a fantastic facility when these improvements are in place. It’s really exciting, and will be a place for so many families to enjoy a great sport.
