Anyone remember a grocery store back in the 60's that had a kiddie theater while the parents shopped? My brother remembers it but can not recall the name or the location. We lived north and south back then so could be either side or town.

Welcome to the forum!

I know Kimberling's IGA at NW 63rd & Portland had a kiddie theater. Later it was Consumers IGA.

There was also a Kimberling's at NW 23rd & Meridian (Windsor Hills) and another at NW 50th & Shartel; not sure if they had the theaters.

I wonder if more IGA stores had them?

Thank you so much! I will ask him if he recalls that name. I was not even sure if my post went through so was so glad to see this!

I grew up on the north side and don't remember anything like that. I used to work at Kimberling's IGA.
