I see this but that's it for the information on it. I noticed this yesterday when I passed by.

I go by there every day. That house and lot have been abandoned and an eyesore for many, many years. It's way past time it went away.

I don’t think so. The parcel in this thread is on the north side of the lake off 39th.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the long abandoned house on the NE corner of N Overholser Dr and Mariner Dr.

I'd say so, thats where I saw demolition happening yesterday personally.

It's still dark when I go by but I knew the fence and a lot of the overgrown vegetation went away a week or so ago.

It may be unrelated, but the City of Oklahoma City placed a lien on the property for cleaning and mowing abatement. It's possible they are just demoing the abandoned house and cleaning up the site to release the lien. The lien was filed on December 6th and the demolition permit was issued on December 22nd.

Aaahhh! Makes sense. I've thought often over the years about trying to find who owned it and trying to buy it. The house is concrete block and structurally pretty sound. And that would be a great place to live.

We opened late so it was light when I went by today. Two track hoes were working on the last piles of rubble. I bet it's close to a clean lot today.

They were this morning? I went by yesterday afternoon and they had a big rubble pile where the house was, guess it was all staged for haul off today.
