I went to costco today and the employee told me that costco was looking to build around I-40 and czech hall. Just wanted to see if anybody knows if it is true or not.

I'll see if anything has started to firm up. roci28 02-15-2022, 02:49 PM Has this been moving forward at all or stopped? Pete 02-15-2022, 03:02 PM I haven't heard anything new. kukblue1 02-22-2022, 01:02 PM 10th street right off the exit ramp to I-40 west bound would be a nice spot. Cornwell exit. Highway exposer. Easy to get too. Biggest issues would be getting back on going east bound. I might be easier to go down 10th and get on at mustang road than trying to turn left and left again at cornwell. I live near there....PLEASE NO. Can you imagine the traffic **** show around Christmas? Costco traffic plus Christmas in the park traffic? NO THANKS! whatitis 02-23-2022, 12:11 PM I live near there....PLEASE NO. Can you imagine the traffic **** show around Christmas? Costco traffic plus Christmas in the park traffic? NO THANKS! I always feel bad for that homeland. It's impossible to go to for a month. I live nearby and it's so terrible I avoid that area at all costs during December. I live on Mustang and 10th roughly so I just don't go over that way if I can avoid it. What is the plan? Bellaboo 02-28-2022, 03:13 PM There is already a master plan for that land, no Costco It's been empty for years, I'm sure the master plan could change. Not one thing has been built there since it was graded. Thatguy15 02-28-2022, 04:06 PM Apartments? Shortsyeararound 11-07-2023, 08:04 AM While I don’t like underperforming stores, we do take advantage of the Moore one when Memorial is out of something. It has always been guaranteed to be there (furniture/holiday items). jedicurt 11-07-2023, 09:19 AM i'm curious of Moore is getting to be closer to their definition of performing. just over the last month (atleast on weekends when i go) i have noticed significantly more traffic in the store. jdg78 11-07-2023, 09:38 AM Where are you getting data Moore store is underperforming? John1744 11-12-2023, 12:54 PM I can't imagine OKC needs a third Costco yet. We make it to either Costco usually once a week and favor the Moore one very slightly, but while they get very very busy at times particularly on the weekends I wouldn't ever say they were beyond capacity. |
