This team almost has a feel kinda like last year. If they really need to tank the management is going to have to force the issue. These guys seem to have chemistry and most are young enough to just want to go play hard. And when they play hard they're not too bad. I think that has something to do with winning even though Shai didn't play and Dort didn't play much. Could it be that building up these guys confidence/psyche and just adding some key pieces could go as well or better in the long run than continuing with the apparent plan of only keeping a couple of guys and blowing up everything else?

I actually think the losses will come without any changes. OKC has a pretty bad point differential, which is usually a better indicator of team quality that wins/losses. I suspect they'll start losing regardless. While I love the way this team competes, I don't think they could make the playoffs if they tried... maybe not even the play-in. Tanking is still the way.

To Laramie's point about the team's psyche, I just think it's important to have a good culture and the players keeps trying to win when they're playing . I think the Process 76ers that tanked had a good strategy, but a losing culture that wasn't beneficial. I think this OKC Thunder organization can maintain a good culture while losing.

And, lastly, you did dream the Shai-to-GLeague part. :) It's just Poku, Ty Jerome, and the two-way players Moses Brown and Josh Hall going to the G-League.

The same locker versions of the Thunder and Lakers will be worn on Wednesday, February 10 in the Staples Center at 9:00 p.m.

Our last meeting with the Lakers resulted in a 128-99 loss on January 13th. This is a competitive and an exciting team to watch as they develop over time.

Any improvement over our last meeting against the Lakers is a good sign for me. Sam Presti doesn't have to land a high profile draft pick like a Cade Cunningham, although it would be nice. Presti has cracked the code, look for OKC to be competitive with a young squad that continuity and familiarity will dictate success.

Been a lot of good debate on this. I still skeptical SGA can be the #1 option on a contending team. But, he's looking more and more like a #2 option on one, which is really saying a lot. He's been impressive this season and it's incredible to be "rebuilding" with someone like him on the roster already. But, that also means, OKC still needs to find a way to get a star... and likely the only path is the draft.

Incredibly, last night's loss dropped OKC down to second to last in the West. It's incredible how bunched up most of the league—especially the West—is around .500.

Regardless of who is the #1 guy; my most optimistic impression about our current TEAM is they play as a TEAM. I'm not concerned about a 'clutch shooter' as I am about any player being able to step up.

SGA to me is someone who can lead. We have several players with potential to be a game-changer or who can stick the dagger in our opponent like Diallo, Dort, Jackson, Maledon, Miller, Muscala, Roby and K. Williams who is blossoming right before our eyes. Two disciplined seasoned veterans in Hill and Horford, they provide veteran leadership.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS FOR OUR THUNDER...

No doubt. This team is fun, hustles, and plays smart. Big fan of these guys.

Enjoyed the game last night against the Trailblazers despite the loss. Feel we will pick up a good top five draft piece in the upcoming draft. Luguentz Dort is the player caliber who Mr. Presti could pick up that will add another younger piece to the roster.

Really believe we will see a competitive Thunder team open the 2021-22 season that will be a title contender. The guys deserve to have 'Loud City' back to support their efforts.

These guys just need to know how to close out. Great performance despite missing two starters in SGA and George Hill.
