This is being built very near the zoo for the Girl Scouts:
Construction has just begun on Camp Trivera – an urban STEM focused camp – in the Adventure District! It will sit on approximately 17 acres of a 40-acre parcel just east of the Oklahoma City Zoo & Botanical Gardens, and will serve Girl Scouts, families and the community alike.
From learning about aerodynamics ziplining across the lake to the OKC Zoo to testing their geological knowledge while climbing the indoor rock wall, these unique features, and many more STEM “surprises” that can be found across the property, are sure to have an impact on girls and inspire the next generation of leaders. It will also provide girls the opportunity to be comfortable in the outdoors – camping, hiking, kayaking – while also having indoor spaces for first time campers who aren’t quite sure about traditional camping just yet.
While this camp was designed primarily for the girls, it is for everyone! When the camp is not in use by Girl Scouts, community groups, organizations and families, like yours, can rent out the camp for your own adventures
