Broke Brewing Company is opening on Saturday, February 29th, 2020, at 3810 North Tulsa Avenue in NW OKC. Opening day we'll be open 2p-9p. Initially we'll only be open Tuesday 3p-10p, Friday 3p-12a, and Saturday 12p-12a. But we expect to ramp up fairly quickly to 5-6 days a week.

Follow @brokebeer on Instagram and Facebook. Visit https://broke.beer for updates as they develop (just the basic info right now). I have lots of build out pics that I may post at a later time. For now here's a sneak peak of the tap room from last night. http://3810.io/broke

Here's a map so you know where to park and where to enter as currently we don't have external signage (there's a banner, but official signage is still coming). We were focused on the internals initially. Also, it's in a very small part of a very large building.

Best of luck. Planning on coming tomorrow Shawn. (Wow, it's late -so, later today I guess; I need to get in bed so I don't miss my flight:) )

Opening was great. We had a line forming 20 minutes before we opened and it was at or out the door for 3 hours. Lots of really good feedback from those that attended. Thanks to Catch-22 and whoever else might have stopped by that I didn't know for supporting.

Sorry I couldn't stay longer. Was on a tight time budget this trip!

The build out of the space was very nice, although I think the beer was too light for my taste. 3.8-4.6% for an IPA is a little too much on the light side. I thought the flavor was good though even without the bitterness that a stronger beer provides (that I like).

Were the 6 oz pours just for opening day or will these be expanded to pints later on?

Basically what we ordered as pint glasses came in as those glasses we used on opening day, which were clearly not pint glasses, so yes, there will be pints once we receive the new glasses.

I'm not a beer guy myself, but according to the brewer, the IPAs we had were rotators, not the Broke IPA, which wasn't pouring on Saturday. We received our license from ABLE on 15 Jan, and we really wanted to open on leap day, so it was a mad dash to get done what we could in time for opening.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to trying it again next time I'm in town!
