3-story office building proposed by Jeff Struble, who owns several properties in the Plaza and also built the large home with the pool shown in the last photo.

Would be cool if he could build it behind those homes without the parking lot.

1. Does that land drawing say "Northeast 16'?

2. Anyone know what shape the houses on the property are in?

The house isn't in terrible shape.

He bought it last year for $280K.

I don't see the appeal of office space here. Is this spec or for someone specific?

They may have some retail/service on the ground floor.

This area is hot; especially 16th. Tons of houses being renovated/rebuilt/repurposed.

I understand the housing explosion in the area. I mean this specific lot seems odd for office space. I would much rather it be on Dowell's property on Classen, or even the corner of 16th and Classen where the tire shop is. It's a great looking building, though.

I don't mind the project, but it would actually be kind of cool to keep the houses and just build mixed use with office space on the east side of the lot.

Love the design, disappointing to lose the houses.

Has anything come of this?

The house on the corner (and I think the back building, although I don't pay as much attention to that) are still there. Not sure if anyone is living in either of them. I've not been inside either building but from the outside they look to be in decent shape, certainly better than the house across Klein that burned a couple years ago and was renovated (although it hasn't sold yet).

I went by yesterday and those properties looked vacant.
