I have two dear friends, an elderly mother and her daughter, who are both battling health challenges that have stressed their income and capabilities for making some major home projects (plumbing, roof, stairlift install) that are much in need. Are there any resources in OKC that people in this situation can draw upon for donated help in this situation? A new year has moved me take a new approach to get help to these sweet ladies.

Do they happen to belong to a well organized church? I've known many congregations that would come together and pool their resources, time and skillsets to help other congregation members. Most every church has members that have handyman skills and even more specialized skills like roofing, plumbing and electrical.
The Boy Scouts will often do yard cleanup and the like.
Might be a good place to start and see if they could refer you to others.
