Am I the only one getting these today? Clearing cookies/cache does not seem to make a difference. I'm only seeing them on my windows 7 desktop, my phone seems fine, no issues.

I'm getting them on my devices.

Yeah, we’re on it.

Incredibly frustrating.

I seem to only get it one time per visit and always the first time I click "latest posts." It's a new window redirect. I close it and all seems fine. But it repeats itself upon each visit. I've cleared history, cached and restarted.

Whelp I’m now getting it on my iPhone. The immunity was nice while it lasted.

Yeah, it's an incredible pain in the arse.

We're doing our best to get it resolved.

FWIW, I got on maybe an hour ago on the same computer as always and got redirects every other click. I didn't change a thing or clear cookies and now its fine. It was just the first 5 minutes I was on then it stopped.

We've been able to clean the site but still working to make sure it's completely clear.

Had issues still this morning. Resolved by turning on Ad-block. I'll turn it back off when the problem's gone and refresh the page a bunch of times to pay back the ad revenue :D

Should be completely gone if you clear your browser history.

I’m still getting them after clearing everything. It’s making the site almost unusable. I know this must be very frustrating and time consuming for you, Pete. I hope the people you hired can fix it quickly.

Mine cleared up yesterday. I signed on and got the usual redirect, read Pete's post, cleared my history (all of it, not just a specific time frame), quit my browser, restarted my computer and the redirects stopped for me immediately. I've signed on 6 times since with no issues. Hopefully it stays that way.

The virus should be cleared. Please clear your browsers one more time and let me know if the issue isn't resolved.

Thanks, Pete. It appears to be gone now. I had to take one extra step on my iPad to clear that I previously did not take.

Is this related to the vBulletin exploit from a few months ago? Seems like they would have a fix for this by now.

This is back (or still going on) on mobile for me. I've tried it on a couple of devices with different browsers. The site's only usable if I disable all javascript because of all the scripts that try to kick off.

For the first time in a couple of weeks, I haven't had a problem. I was getting hit about three-four times everyday so this looks promising.

Same here. Unfortunately the IT person at our building has now blocked the OKCTalk domain on the building wide wifi where my office is because of the malware. I gotta either use my phone or hotspot during the day to access the site.

It wouldn’t be as bad if it’s just a new window opening, but it throws me to the App Store before I can close out the pop up.

Brand new malicious redirects for me on a mobile Android device.... Mentioned something about porn and I killed it immediately. Can't take any risks with that kind of crap, sorry.

Somehow, someone is hacking into the site and uploading the virus.

Getting very close to narrowing down how that is happening.

Should be clear now and I hope we've figured out why it keeps recurring.

Definitely not clear on mobile. But I appreciate the heads up on all the hot and horny singles in my area.

Yes, clicking on nearly everything takes me to a spam page. I can only read articles and posts by right-clicking and opening as a new tab.

Cleared it again and getting close to nailing down why it keeps coming back. We keep doing new things and I hope this will be permanently resolved soon if not already.

Please clear browsing data and the redirects should be gone.

I cleared cookies, cache, and browsing data about a week ago and haven't had a problem since. I'm not saying the problem was cleared from OKCTalk, just that what I did worked for me.

The redirects are gone.

But Pete, what is the issue with the formatting? Is that related to the malware? Also the menu bar at the top used to follow my screen when I scroll— now that is no more.

Should be gone if you clear your browser.
