No idea who owns the land but the SW corner of Highway 66 and the Kilpatrick would be ideal for them.

There is a Summer Moon Coffee house over in that area that’s really good actually!!

I know but putting any sort of decent coffeeshop on the SW corner seems like a good way to clean up on the Yukon to OKC commuters who want an easy entrance/exit as they travel from 66 to the JKT in the morning

A building permit was filed for Scooter's at 8908 S. May.

Interesting. Storage World currently occupies that address. They have a large-ish empty parking lot out front though - maybe this is going to there? Or is this going to go next door?

With it's small footprint, they can break out a small track on an existing lot and then tie onto existing utilities etc. They've done this already at least once, if you look at their NW 39th street location (between Portland and Tulsa). It's not uncommon for smaller footprint services to do this, like the old 1-hour photo shops.

The old Grandy's on the SW corner of NE 36th & Lincoln will become a Scooter's Coffee.

There is room for another building on that site but not sure of the plan.

After a long pause since the demolition of the former Grandy's, the Scooter's location at NE 36th & Lincoln Blvd has slowly started to get built. The building structure is up but has yet to be completed.
