I haven't had an issue for days now. Maybe I cached a good version

Use the site everyday from same computer. Just started getting redirects this morning. No previous issues other than was slow a few days Just FYI for Pete so he knows still happening. I know he is working on it and must be incredibly frustrating relying on others.

Love OKC but this needs to be addressed.
Newbomb Turk is, hands down, greatest profile name ever.

After having commented about having no problems, except for slow loads, I, like Jeep, am experiencing very annoying redirects. I almost dread hitting the enter key .

What specifically?

I have the host company working on the redirects. I am not getting them at all (I use Chrome and cleared my cache).

It just kept redirecting me off the site. Did it probably 6 or 7 times in a 10 minute span.

Some corrupt files have been deleted.

Please clear your browsing data and the redirects should stop.

Damn! I spoke too soon. Was getting redirects for days. Then, they went away completely for days. Then, this morning, every click results in a redirect (mostly telling me to update FLASH, and some Hulu).

I had cleared browsing history and successfully resolved the problem last time. Confirmed it started again today for me as well. However, perhaps of value in troubleshooting - It seems that Ghostery extension for Chrome has prevented it from occurring again with the testing I've done over the last 10-15 minutes. For me it was happening with any of the quick navigation links (News/Forum/Latest Posts etc.) and I've tried to recreate the problem with Ghostery active and I cannot.

Worse on my iPad today. Still heavy on Firefox. We know you’re working on it Pete. You need a network security guy/lady to check all scripts and all known vulnerabilities. It shouldn’t take long at all to look at logs and run a scan of your affected server. Who is helping you? With no disrespect to you personally, you are not being well served for this to take this long. It might also be time for a site certificate too, no https at this date is a bad look and it gives the appearances of lax security. It wouldn’t stop this. But it might have advertised a perceived lack of security at the server. Good luck with this, know it’s a horrible frustration.

Wow, until today I never had any problems on iphone (except recently the “load more replies” feature doesn’t work). Today every click gets me a redirect. I will need to stay away until this is fixed, worried about it.

I feel like posting is WAY down due to this issue. Suspect overall traffic might be as well. I've had to stop peeking at work while on breaks. Can't be infecting the work PC.

I know this better than anyone and have our hosting company doing a complete virus clean.

Should be resolved very soon.

Will they turn javascript back on too after it's cleaned up and secured again? I'm not a coder, but I suspect that's what's behind the recent loss of formatting, emojis, not being able to see ignored posts, etc.

There may still be some residual problems but if you clear you cache, hopefully no more redirects.

Still getting them. I only use iphone to access this site. Whats strange is I had zero issues until the other day even though others has issues long before. Then it just started up. AnytimeI click anything it opens a second redirect window. I catch it fast before it loads and close it. It does move to the new clicked page. Might be related to tech/brand now?

Which browser? The browser itself may be infected. Clear browsing data; may need to reinstall the brower.

Or you can open a browser in incognito mode and that should resolve the issue.

Still happening. Multiple devices, multiple browsers. It's an embedded script Pete. If they haven't been able to find it in the php pages, then they haven't been looking at the other file (like the htacess file). If you look at the whole code of the main page, you will probably find a reference to a script somewhere. Browsers can disable those (cross-scripting and the like), which is why some people aren't seeing it. But the infection is still there. Clearing the cache doesn't actually DO anything for this because it's not a cache problem. The script is going to be called form the page and the script is probably loaded on your site, but it's possible just calling a script reference from another URL too. Whatever you're paying these guys to look at it, they aren't doing a good job.

Weird, I got rampant redirects. Then I cleared my cache and browsing history and it all went away. That was the only thing I did.

iOS Mobile still suffers from a number of popups (any time a link is clicked), most of which will take to the User to either pornography or a website that automatically opens the App Store or Music Store.

I was having same issue on Safari/iphone. In Safari open that book looking thing on bottom and then once it opens you will see a “clear” button on bottom. Do that and just remember you will have to reenter passwords again. But it worked for me no more redirects
