I think a lot of these types of places exist so the wives of rich oil executives can pretend to be doing something other than working out at Orange Theory, brunching at Cafe 501, and filling the family Range Rover with the trappings of West Elm.

"Honey, did our Decadent Pet Jewelry store make any sales today?"

"Oh darling, of course not, but we had such fun looking at all of our inventory, and isn't that what this is really all about?" ;)

Does indeed sound like a rich Wife, or side Gal, vanity shop. They all carry the same foo foo stuff.
