I'm hearing a Wahlburgers is going in in front of Target on 19th St in Moore. I haven't eaten at one but their burgers look good on their website.

Overrated, in my opinion.

Yup. It’s going in there. I saw plans and specs awhile back.

I am so excited to find out we are finally getting one of their restaurants. Not close to me, but I'll have to go there from time to time. Their food looks delicious on tv and their website.Any idea when to expect an opening?

I drove by the area yesterday and there is definitely something that is going to be built. I hope you are right about it being a Wahlburgers.

I hope they staff it with local help. I've watched the show and their accent is thick.

They should change the restaurant name, it sounds the same as Whataburger

I went in to a Wahlburgers in Vegas expecting a mediocre burger in a gimmicky restaurant that only exists because of the name. It was actually a legit burger and I was pleasantly surprised by it. If it is a Wahlburgers it’s a good get..

Had one last summer in Boston. Wasn't anything noteworthy to me.

It’s a multi-tenant building going up. Some thing must have changed in regards to wahlburgers opening up is a space.

It appears that this might not be a chain that has a plan.

The original posting was incorrect. Wahlburgers has no immediate plans to expand to Oklahoma. https://www.koco.com/article/wahlburgers-restaurant-coming-to-oklahoma/28487478

Others are saying they've seen plans for it.

I know from experience that when you contact corporate they will always deny, even when building permits have been pulled.

So, I wouldn't take this denial as the last word.

Sounds like it will be a Wahlburgers. Was talking to those in The City of Moore offices and they have seen the contracts, etc. It's most certainly going to be built. Wahlburgers was just upset that it was leaked out before they sent out a press release.

If the cat is out of the bag, why all the coy denials? I mean, at this point, so what? It's not like they're hiding nuclear secrets.

I'm just regurgitating the info Pete provided earlier, but it wants me to enter more characters so here we are.

So, this mystery is finally solved.

Originally, there was a plan filed to build-out a Wahlburgers.

But now the strip center is pretty much finished you can see that is not happening. The space at the west end is being finished out for Pacific Dental; the middle space is small and seems available.

What was the date on those plans if you have the full sheet Pete? Curious how long ago this was thought out.

Was told that many times developers will just fill names of a possible tenant when submitting plans to the City. Something that fits in general category of the business that will be there. They may even be required to by the city

Its a long process from plan submission to lease ready
